“Who but a perfect God could create a world in which what we/want is never what we need. . .” Sexual assault and childhood trauma. Popular culture and political upheaval. What we’ve killed and what we’ve eaten. I’m undone by this poet’s rendering of pain and humor with every confession and turn: the black fly, karma, the beloved sister celebrated in these pages. Debitage is an essential book for our era and a site where Eriksen’s linguistic tools shine."-Janine Certo
